Finance & controls Management reporting and tax review: Monthly numbers you can decide from.

Management accounts, dashboards and board packs built from one set of numbers, so month-end ends with a decision rather than an argument. Plus a second check on tax computations before they are filed.

Management reporting and tax review

What the work covers.

Big Four rigour, applied to your business: numbers ready for your auditors, your lenders and the decisions you need to make.

  1. 01

    Management accounts

A monthly reporting set that closes on time and reconciles to the ledger, with commentary on what moved and why.

  2. 02

    Dashboards

Live views of margin, cash, debtors and the few measures that run your business, refreshed from source instead of rebuilt by hand.

  3. 03

    Board packs and models

A templated board pack and the three-statement or cash-flow models behind decisions on pricing, hiring and investment.

  4. 04

    Tax computation review

Recomputation and review of GST or VAT, corporate tax and deferred tax positions before filing or audit. A check on the numbers, not tax advice.

How it works

Fixed scope. No surprises.

We start with the decisions the reporting has to support, then work back to the data. Most of the value is in doing the reconciliation and definitions once, properly, so every report after that agrees.

  1. 01
    First conversation

By email or a free 30-minute call, to understand the problem and whether this is the right fix.

  2. 02
    Fixed scope and price

In writing, before any work starts. No hourly meter running.

  3. 03
    The work and handover

Led by a founding partner, finished with documentation your team can use.

Contact us
Do you give tax advice?

No. We recompute and review tax positions so the numbers are right. Advice and lodgement stay with your tax adviser.

Which dashboard tools do you use?

Usually what you already have, or Power BI where a new tool makes sense. We choose the tool after we know the questions it has to answer.

How long does it take to set up?

A first monthly pack is usually in place within a few weeks. Dashboards depend on how clean the underlying data is, which the first month tells us.

Not sure this is the right fix?

Tell us what is going on, and we will tell you honestly whether you need this, the diagnostic first, or neither.
