Before you send us anything
How we handle your data.
The diagnostic needs a look inside your systems. Here is exactly what that means, in plain English. Where a detail is still being confirmed, it says so.
Draft Some specifics below are marked TBC while our hosting and agreements are finalised. We will not start an engagement until they are confirmed in writing for you.
What we ask for
Read-only access to your finance and operations systems, your last three months of management reporting, and conversations with three to five of your people.
Read-only means we can look but not change anything. We ask for the minimum needed to score the six areas, and we send the full list after the intake call so you can say no to anything on it.
We do not need, and will not ask for, passwords to banking, payroll payment functions or anything that moves money.
Where it is kept
Wherever possible we work inside your own systems, so your data never leaves them. Anything we do need to hold, such as exports and interview notes, goes into an Australian-hosted workspace.
The specific provider and data-centre region TBC will be named here and in your engagement letter.
Who can see it
- Named people only. The named team members who run your diagnostic. Nobody else, unless you agree in writing.
- Logged. Access is recorded, and you can ask to see the log.
- Under NDA. A confidentiality agreement is signed before any access is granted.
Where the people with access are located, including any access from outside Australia and the agreement that covers it, TBC. It will be stated here plainly, not buried in the privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Only as long as the engagement needs, plus a short period for your questions after the report is delivered. The exact retention period TBC goes in your engagement letter.
The report itself is yours. We keep a copy only if you agree to it, for example to re-run the diagnostic next year on the same scale.
When we are done
- Your access for us is removed. We will remind you to revoke it on your side too.
- Working files are deleted from our workspace, and we confirm the deletion in writing.
- Anything you asked us to keep is listed in that confirmation.
